APPLICATION

Already today, many Rhein Chemie components can be used in water-miscible metalworking fluids with the help of emulsifiers. The Additin® Water-Miscible (WM) series is designed for water-soluble and emulsifiable metalworking fluids. The series is ideally suitable for the formulation of:

Emulsifiable, semi-synthetic as well as water-soluble metalworking fluids
HFC fluids
Water-based metal cleaners and antifreeze
In addition, several products can be used as tank-side additives

MODE OF ACTION: LUBRICATION AND PROTECTION OF METAL SURFACES IN AQUEOUS SYSTEMS

The Additin® WM range provides water-miscible additives that opti- mize the performance of water-miscible metalworking fluids by en- hancing lubricity and extreme-pressure characteristics as well as cor- rosion protection.
